TREASURE THE MOMENTS 2020 PHOTO CONTEST: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This article answers questions from those interested in the Treasure The Moments 2020 photo contest, co-organized by Paper Shoot Vietnam and TheFace Magazine Vietnam.

? HOW DO WINNERS CLAIM THEIR PRIZES?
After the winners are announced, prize recipients must email their personal information (full name, phone number, identity card number, and address) to papershootvn@gmail.com within seven working days of the announcement.
If a recipient fails to submit the required information within this period, the organizers reserve the right to withdraw the prize without prior notice.
Winners are responsible for any travel, shipping, or other costs associated with receiving their prizes.
Prizes will be forfeited if winners do not contact the organizers and complete the prize claim procedures within 30 days of the announcement.
The 12 semifinalist entries will be announced on December 17, 2020, on the official Facebook pages of Paper Shoot Vietnam and TheFace Magazine Vietnam. The organizers will send semifinalists a form with instructions for scheduling their livestream appearances on TheFace Magazine Vietnam.
? ARE THERE ANY OTHER CONTEST RULES?
The organizers have sole discretion in determining whether submitted photographs meet the contest’s eligibility requirements and rules.
Each personal Facebook account may enter using only one post link.
Each entry must contain one to five photographs in a single post. Eligible photographs include black-and-white photographs, film photographs, or color photographs edited to achieve a vintage film look or resemble one of Paper Shoot’s four default filters: Classic Lomography, Black & White, Sepia, and Blue. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify an entry or invalidate its results if fraudulent activity is identified.
The judges will consider the written submission’s word count as part of their assessment. Submissions containing 100–250 words will receive higher scores for compliance with this requirement.
The 100–250-word requirement applies only to the main written submission accompanying the full set of photographs. Individual photo captions will not count toward the word count assessed by the judges.
By submitting an entry, participants agree to all contest rules and voluntarily grant the organizers the right to use their submitted works, whether or not they win, to promote the contest and for the organizers’ subsequent communications, advertising, and marketing campaigns, without requiring any additional payment or compensation. Participants also agree not to raise claims regarding such use by the organizers.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they hold the necessary rights to their photographs and have obtained consent from the people depicted for the photographs to be published.
Participants are responsible for their entries and must ensure that they comply with Vietnamese law and accepted cultural and social standards. Participants must resolve any issues arising if their submitted photographs violate, or are alleged to violate, Vietnamese law or cultural standards.

Entry submission period:
Contest opens: December 1, 2020
Deadline for written entries and photographs: December 14, 2020
Judging and photo voting period:
Judging and announcement of the 12 best photographs: December 15–17, 2020.
Livestream interviews: The photographers behind the 12 selected photographs will share their stories in livestream interviews hosted by TheFace Magazine Vietnam from December 18–23, 2020.
Public voting for the favorite photograph: December 18–23, 2020.
Winners announced and prizes awarded: December 24, 2020.
